“ When I'm fond of a place, I tend to nickname them. "Whippydip" is a pet favorite of mine. If you want an old fashioned hot fudge sundae- you will get it here! The real deal!!! Growing up on the West side, I had been blessed with an abundance of little ice cream stores that resemble this! It's busy too, so you know they've got the good stuff. Service is fast and adorable (some very sweet teens working) and I even got sprinkles! Yes, I am rather judgey on hot fudge sundaes- and this one was amazing! The location is just outside the Geneva on the lake western arch. Literally right in front of it and across the convention center! A man talking to me in line said he comes here for the banana splits- that they are perfect!! The selections are change and each one is exceptional. Of note- butter pecan- my friend is picky and we both raved about it! Just wow! Like many Geneva on the lake locations, this may close during winter. If your feet find you at Geneva on the lake during spring/summer/early fall- please stop here for an old fashioned moment of childhood happy! Highly recommend. ”
